BUNN. And now consumers can brew
perfect coffee quickly at home in a
BUNN
brewer that looks even better in their kitchens. Effective spring 2006, the
complete line of BUNN 10-cup coffee brewers has been upgraded in appearance to
match what consumers want in their home brewers.
The biggest change to the four brewers offered
by BUNN is the upgrade in exterior design to a high performance housing material
typically used in higher-end and major appliances. As a result, consumers can
clean their brewers more often and with greater ease. Most feature a new,
stainless faceplate that improves the overall appearance, putting the popular
accent where consumers can enjoy it.
BUNN has a long reputation for quality brewing
in the commercial market,
manufacturing brewers and beverage equipment for fine restaurants, coffee
houses, and other foodservice operations. BUNN home coffee brewers enable
consumers to brew superior coffee without leaving home.
BUNN home brewers produce 10 cups of perfect
coffee in three minutes or less. The stainless-steel tank holds the brew water
at approximately 200˚F, the temperature required to extract the maximum flavor
from coffee. This holding tank eliminates the need to heat water rapidly to
brewing temperature, the process used by typical coffeemakers. This rapid
heating can cause uneven water temperature that over-extracts coffee, resulting
in coffee with a bitter flavor.
The patented BUNN brewing system showers the
water over the ground coffee using a specially designed sprayhead to create
optimum turbulence in the funnel for just the right amount of time.
The re-launched line will feature new packaging
and a merchandising program that reflect the premium nature of these
professional quality products from BUNN. Home brewers from BUNN include the
GRX Basic, the
BX Classic, the
NHBX Generation (all
available in black or white) and the
BTX Thermo Fresh (available in black). High altitude models are also
available.
BUNN 10-cup home
brewers have these additional features:
- Internal thermostat keeps water at an ideal
temperature for maximum flavor and fast brewing.
- Vacation switch turns the tank heater off
when the brewer will not be used for long periods of time.
- Porcelain-coated warming plate for easy
cleaning.
- Lighted switch indicates if warming plate is
on.
- Convenient sliding or flip lid for easy
addition of water.
Home consumers who want to brew one cup of
coffee or tea at a time can choose the My Cafe Single-Serve Pod Brewer from
BUNN. Available in both pourover (MCP) and automatic models (MCA), My Cafe uses
coffee pods or tea bags or pods to brew coffee or tea, one cup at a time.
